What our Customers Are Saying

Grand Oasia Riviera

The Grand Oasis Riviera Jan 8-15 (6 adults, 2 kids)

It took us 90 minutes to get to this resort from the airport. We had a group of 10, two of whom were children. The grounds are beautiful, as is the lobby, which looks right out onto the Caribbean Sea.

The rooms are spectacular big and spacious, king bed with a love seat and a small table for two, I loved how the shower and toilet area was separate and how they had an area for hair and makeup without having to be in the way of others, our room over looked the pool and our balcony had more then enough room for us and guest.

The beach was beautiful and walkable for quite a while. This beach is great for snorkeling. Water shoes are a must. To the right of the resort, there is this little restaurant where you can get a cold drink and some authentic Mexican food, which I wish I remembered the name of.

This resort, unfortunately, was understaffed, as they had just reopened from renovations. The swim-up bar was nice, but there was no music and many times no bartender, as the bartender had to go and collect glasses to make more drinks. The animation staff of two was quite truly no big activities going on unless you looked at the board. In my experience at other resorts, the staff go around and rally up guests at the Grand Oasis. This was not the case, so disappointing but understandable due to the shortage of staff.

Nightlife was truly nonexistent, karaoke, a DJ and one night a magician. We missed the big shows, so a bit disappointing, but we had a group of 10, so we kept ourselves busy.

No limit on the a la carts first come first serve and 6 to choose from, so this was nice.

The buffet was okay, small and repetitive. I am limited to certain foods because of an autoimmune disease. I had a very hard time finding food to eat at the buffet, but I was fine with the à la carte.

They also had a BBQ type of lunch area by swim up bar, but because of the wild animals that other guests were feeding, they would jump up and remove the covers on the food and eat so this was a definite turn off of me.

I enjoyed my time there, the rooms are amazing biggest room I have stayed in by far, the grounds are amazing, I loved all the palm trees in the pool area and resort area its like they built the resort around the trees. The weather was amazing, the pools were cold, the beach was just beautiful, the drinks were plentiful, and the food was good.

Brittney, thank you so much for booking this for our family. We truly appreciate all the time you put into booking this trip for us. I know it can't be easy to please a family of this size, but you did it!

Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort, Roatan

We had a great trip and highly recommend Roatan—it’s a bit of a hidden gem and we’ll definitely return. The airport was small and easy to navigate on both arrival and departure, and transfers were smooth.

Infinity Bay Resort was excellent. Check-in was easy, our ground-floor room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a full kitchen and large patio. The resort felt very safe, housekeeping was consistent, and having drinkable tap water was a big bonus. The resort is compact, well maintained, and conveniently located steps from the pool and beach, with plenty of loungers available.

The beach and water were beautiful, warm, and great for snorkeling right in front of the resort—we even saw a nurse shark. West Bay is lively and touristy with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Cruise ship days were busier, but the pool area never felt overcrowded.

December is the end of rainy season, and unfortunately we experienced frequent rain, which limited some excursions. Despite that, we still enjoyed exploring West End, dining out (no bad meals!), and loved that breakfast was included rather than all-inclusive. La Palapa at the resort was a favorite.

Overall, despite the rain, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely return—ideally outside rainy season. Next time we’d bring rain gear and bug spray, and likely rent a car instead of relying on taxis.

Booking with you was stress-free and wonderful—we’d happily leave a review and will definitely book with you again!

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar

Review of Paradisus Princesa Del Mar, Varadero, Cuba
Booked by the BEST Travel Advisor, Brittney Minnings
April 14–21, 2025

We had an amazing week at this beautiful resort—gorgeous beach, great food and drinks, friendly staff, and so many memories! Brittney’s recommendation was spot on, and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Our garden-view room was clean and well-kept, close to the beach. When our fridge stopped working, maintenance replaced it within 15 minutes. Housekeeping was excellent and even surprised me with a birthday cake in our room!

The resort had a fun, relaxed vibe—great entertainment if you wanted it, but also quiet spots to unwind. The Rock House 24-hour snack bar became our favourite hangout with tasty food, friendly staff, and a lively late-night atmosphere.

The pool area was never crowded, and we loved the swim-up bar. We also enjoyed a couples massage at the spa—highly recommend! The beach was stunning, clean, and perfect for long walks. Mojitos at the beach bar were a highlight, and the staff made us feel like friends.

Food was great overall. The buffet had lots of variety (a bit repetitive, but always tasty), and the à la cartes were excellent—especially the Japanese restaurant! Booking them was easy once we found the office.

We went into town twice using the hop-on-hop-off bus and had an incredible dinner at Varadero 60—best meal we’ve ever had! Locals were kind and welcoming everywhere we went.

We tipped in Canadian dollars and brought small gifts for staff—they were so appreciative. We also used the Airport VIP Lounge on our way home, which was totally worth it for the convenience and comfort.

Overall, it was a fantastic vacation from start to finish. Cuba is a wonderful, budget-friendly destination, and Brittney made everything seamless. Highly recommend booking with her—you’ll be in great hands!

Riu Emerald Bay, Mazatlan Mexico

The resort was great! It’s a big resort, lots of pools so it never felt crowded. The waterpark was great the kids really enjoyed it so that was a nice touch too. Rooms were good, nothing special but very clean. Food was good, lots of selection, good service. We really liked the resort, and both Kirstin and I agreed we’d go back there. The only downside we found was that the beach wasn’t private, so it was really busy with locals setting up their tents and stuff. But we honestly didn’t mind it really we still spent lots of time on the beach. Hope that helps! Thanks a lot again for the help, you’ll definitely have to help us next year when we go again!

Catalonia Montego Bay

Our experience booking an all-inclusive stay at the Catalonia resort in Jamaica was fantastic, thanks to Brittney Minnings at TravelOnly! She handled all our travel arrangements, and when our 6 a.m. flight was delayed, she quickly arranged for us to fly out the next day and booked us a room at the Alt Hotel, conveniently connected to Pearson Airport.

From choosing the perfect resort to suggesting the Privileged upgrade—which we highly recommend—Brittney took care of everything. The upgrade gave us preferred rooms near the adults-only pool and access to the BLoved restaurant, exclusive to Privileged guests and requiring no reservations. We also enjoyed the à la carte restaurants, especially Momma Mia, which we visited twice because it was so good!

The staff throughout the resort were friendly and efficient. We did a rafting excursion that was fun, though we only spent about 45 minutes rafting out of a full-day trip (8:30–3), with the rest of the time spent waiting.

Overall, our vacation was wonderful and went smoothly from start to finish—aside from the weather delay, which was out of anyone’s control. We would absolutely recommend Brittney Minnings for your future travel plans!

Casa Marina Beach and Reef, Sosua Dominican Republic

Review of Casa Marina Beach and Reef. Standard Room, Garden view. 2 adults

Our flight was nice and I loved the air bus that Air Transit uses. We arrived and got through Customs smoothly. Our Air Transit rep was there and our bus ride was maybe 20 min to the resort. Our check in went smoothly and only took 1/2 an hour. Rooms are small but clean, water was hot and air conditioning worked. My only complaint with the rooms is there is no coffee makers in them and you have to go all the way to the buffet to get a coffee. Pools were clean and refreshing with many lounge chairs available. There was no wait staff to serve you drinks around the pool area or bars, you had a good 3 min walk to get a beverage. I didn’t mind but sometimes on vacation you want to be spoiled. The food from the buffet and snack bar was good, we always found something to eat. We liked the fact that you could go into A la Cartes as many times as you like. We truly didn't take advantage of the night life, as after a day in the sun and a great dinner we just ended the day with the beautiful sunset and then drinks back at on our room’s balcony.  The staff was great but only had one bartender at each of the three bars. Service in the buffet area was great. The resort had beautiful grounds and was well kept. The view speaks for itself as its looked upon the mountains of Puerto Plata and a spectacular sunset. The town of Sosua is just minutes away and has many little towns with some amazing shops, restaurants and malls. This was my favorite part of my trip. I loved that I could go into this town and live the Dominican life style, feeling totally safe and secure.

All in all, I would go back but I would upgrade to a select room as you get better benefits and a coffee maker in your room.

This is my second time dealing with Brittney. My husband and I decided on March 21st to take a 5-day vacation and we wanted to leave March 30th to either the Dominican or Cuba and gave her our price point. Brittney got back to us in a timely matter, considering it was Friday night when we sent in our request and Saturday morning when we got itinerary on the resorts, she thought would fit our style. Brittney's knowledge of countries and resorts is what is so amazing about having her as a travel agent, it speaks volume and helped us to make the right decision on destination and resort.  We were booked Sunday and had our itinerary by Monday. We left following Sunday.

I would definitely book through Brittney again and have already told all of our family and friends about her friendly attitude, professionalism and knowledge.

Thank you, Brittney, for all your hard work you made our last-minute vacation one for our book of memories.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace, Punta Cana

The resort was beautiful. Very big. They were slow on restocking some items, mostly our coffee. It was a long walk to the lobby. Our room was very big with a hot tub on a nice back deck. Some of the restaurant’s food was not so good. The French one and the seafood one were both gross. The Italian and the Japanese were awesome! The shows were good. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this resort.
